📝 Note:
Responsibilities - Develop and maintain UI automated tests for Android applications using UiAutomator2. - Migrate existing Appium tests to UiAutomator2 for improved stability, native Android support, and reduced flakiness. - Create robust tests for cross-app scenarios, gestures (swipe, pinch, long press), notifications, and system dialogs. - Maintain parallel execution on real devices. - Set up and optimize test environments (Linux servers, ADB for device management, device farms). - Analyze flakiness, logs (logcat + UIAutomator2 dumps), optimize selectors - Implement page object models for UiAutomator2 pages with waits and custom conditions. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo), configure Bamboo plans for APK/AAB builds. - Work with hybrid/native apps, test system permissions, deep links, and intent-based navigation. - Support generated reports (Allure), track coverage metrics (80%+ critical flows), participate in test code reviews - Check daily reports, create bug tickets in JIRA Requirements - Experience in test automation - Extensive knowledge of Python - Strong knowledge of UIAutomator2 for writing automated tests - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Bamboo (or Jenkins, GitLab CI) - Support test infrastructure and device/emulator farm. - Linux/bash skills - physical devices are on Linux, located in office server room - Experience working with Android Studio, ADB, and Android SDK - Experience REST API and testing via Postman Nice to Have - Experience working with Appium framework - JavaScript - might be helpful writing tests not only for Android but also for iOS - Experience setting up and maintaining a farm of real devices and emulators. - Experience with reporting systems such as Allure/Allure TestOps or similar. - Experience with performance testing of mobile applications. - Experience with iOS test automation (Swift/XCUITest) as an additional competency.
