**Back Office Product Owner (Fintech)
Unlimit, Belgrade**

**Key tasks:**

🌸Own the Backoffice end-to-end — functionality, business logic, data model, documentation, roadmap, and lifecycle.
🌸Manage reconciliation — define matching rules and thresholds, oversee breaks, and reduce manual intervention and recurring discrepancies.
🌸Drive settlement and payouts — own settlement logic, including cycles, fees, reserves, netting, FX, and adjustments, ensuring transparent and controlled payouts.
🌸Ensure wallet & ledger integrity — define balance rules across currencies and ensure accurate, traceable money movement.
🌸Drive requirements & roadmap — translate business, operational, and regulatory needs into a prioritized backlog and clear, testable requirements, making trade-offs with Engineering.
🌸Own delivery & release quality — define acceptance criteria, lead UAT, coordinate testing, approve releases, and validate outcomes in production.
🌸Manage incidents & operational continuity — handle critical escalations, assess financial impact, coordinate remediation, and oversee financial data corrections.

**Qualifications you bring:**

💦3+ years in payment/financial operations across payments, fintech, crypto, or banking.
💦Strong knowledge of payment rails: SEPA/Instant, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ACH, card acquiring, open banking.
💦Crypto & AML/CTF knowledge: blockchains, stablecoins, wallets, tracing, KYC/CDD, sanctions/PEP, SoF, Travel Rule, SAR/STR, MiCA, VASP requirements.
💦Strong reconciliation & controls skills: ledgers, settlements, cut-offs, discrepancies, transaction investigation.
💦Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; SQL preferred.
💦Analytical, detail-oriented, and communicative: sound judgement, discretion, and fluent English.
